Sprinkler System
- The most beautiful lawns have an efficient sprinkler system supporting it! When you live a busy life, it's not easy to maintain your lawn! Once your yard is cared for, you can rely on us, to provide you with an hands free, automatic sprinkler system to efficiently water your lawn and plants as needed. Without you having to stop your daily life activities, or spending countless hours moving hoses around, braking plants, knocking things over, wasting time and water. Do the most with your time and let us take care of that! From designing and mapping out the job, to where the main water source will be, the sprinkler heads will be placed, automatic controller location, all programmed and ready to operate! We will make sure your lawn and plants are happy getting the water they need, when they need it. Especially in those hot summer days! All of our sprinkler systems are installed, with top of the line irrigation products, such as (RAIN BIRD, HUNTER, IRRITROL)! We also offer the new technology SMART controllers (RAIN MACHINE, SKYDROP, RACHIO) option! Very cool. You can operate it from your smart phone or tablet, you can receive email notifications and get information on your system while you're gone! Every system design varies. It all depends on water pressure, different areas and size of the yard, plant beds, lawn areas, shaded areas vs open to sun areas, sloped grounds vs flat grounds. All these factors are vital to take into consideration before designing an installatio of a sprinkler system! The water pressure will determine how many sprinkler heads per zone you can properly function. Larger areas require different Sprinkler heads from smaller areas! Such as rotary heads (rotate in adjusted angles and cover larger areas, used in a grass area more than likely). A pop-up head(spray head that provides a steady water midst in a fixed area, does not rotate)! Some areas require more water than others, for example: an area that gets sun for the most part of the day, vs an area that does not. Plants and grass require different watering times. So they need to be separated into different zones!

Repairs, Maintenance , winterizing & Backflow testing
After designing and completing installation , LC-Sprinklers & Lighting offers additional services, to properly maintain the up keep of your new system! It is very Important to do so. Due to Weather conditions in our area (East coast), sprinkler systems are seasonal. It is required and essential to the longevity of the sprinkler system to be WINTERIZED annually, prior to Winter freeze up temperatures arriving! The process of winterizing a sprinkler system consists of: turning off the system water supply shut-off valve, then connect a compressor hose to the blow out point, going through every zone of the system, one by one pushing out any water that's in the lines. Next, if your system has any removable valves, such as back, flow devices, remove valve and give it to customer to store it a way in a safe place until next year Turn-on season! When failing to winterize a sprinkler system can cause to crack the lines, damage valves and sprinkler heads. If this happens will turn into costly repairs and headaches, which could have been avoided! A well maintained system should last about 20 years or so, with a few small repairs along the way! Sprinkler system winterization is a standard process and we make sure the job gets done correcty!
